Credit & Office Manager (Apply Here)

London - Credit & Office Manager

Based out of our London location, this position reports directly to the General Manager and indirectly to the Director of Credit Services.  This position requires a driven self-starter with a “does what it takes” mentality, who can effectively lead and develop people in order to maximize staff engagement, customer satisfaction and results. 

The successful candidate will possess:   

1. Proven ability to lead, train, coach and motivate the credit services team members and the Assistant Credit and Office Managers

2. Practical experience with credit granting policies and best practices which ensure consistency and profitability

3. Solid track record of being a role model while leading a team to uphold or exceed  high levels of customer service satisfaction

4. Above average problem solving orientation on complex issues and experience supporting other departments to this end

5. Multi-tasking, demonstrated analytical thinking and organization aptitude

6. A positive, collaborative, mature and professional attitude 

7. A love of retail and selling along with commitment to working the required retail hours of our business
 

To be considered for this role, the following minimum qualifications are required:

1. A Post Secondary education in business

2. 8+ years experience in a role requiring managerial level decision making and accountability

3. 3-5 years experience with credit granting

4. The demonstrated ability:

      o to motivate, develop and lead staff members and supervisors

      o of taking responsibility for resolving complex customer issues

      o in supporting various business needs through constant re-prioritization

5. Experience taking a leadership role in improving processes to exceed the goals and expectations

6. Experience in making lending decisions and effectively communicating those decisions to customers

7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle escalated customers

8. Talent in recruiting and retaining exceptional people and developing a unified team

9. Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset

10. An exceptionally high achievement orientation, as demonstrated by continued professional growth

11. Access to a reliable vehicle and ability to travel
