You can purchase your items and pick them up at our convenient drive-thru, or have them delivered directly to your door step and set up the way you like. Here you’ll find everything you need to know about delivery, pick-up and merchandise set-up options. Still have questions call  or visit us in-store and get the answers you are looking for.

Customer Pick-up

Our convenient customer pick-up option gives you the opportunity to get your purchase and take it home yourself. We will let you know when your purchase is available for pick up, then just bring your invoice to the store pick-up area, where you purchased your item, and an associate will gather your order and help you load it in your vehicle. When picking up your order please consider the size of your vehicle, as the packaging on the product may be larger and heavier than expected. If your purchase doesn't fit into your vehicle, scheduling a delivery is still an option.

Drive-Thru Customer Pick-up is available in Kitchener, Windsor, London, Chatham, Ancaster and Sarnia so just pull up to the drive-thru window and present your invoice, you don’t even need to get out of your vehicle! Once your purchase is carefully loaded into your car you will be asked to sign that you have received your purchase... It's that simple!

Same Day Delivery

Available in our Windsor, London, Ancaster and Kitchener locations. Delivery must be in our standard Windsor, London, Ancaster or Kitchener delivery area, and must be processed before 3PM Tuesday to Friday to be eligible for SAME DAY SHIPPING. A limited number of same day delivery slots available per location. See in store for full details.

Preparing For Your Delivery

Please assist us in making sure your product delivery is successful.

Prior to your delivery, you will be contacted and provided an estimated three-hour time window for when the delivery team will arrive on your scheduled delivery day. Please ensure your walkways are clear of snow or any obstructions. Appliances and furniture must be ready to be moved, (empty disconnected from the wall and doors removed) when the delivery personnel arrive. The one-for-one move includes a move to the curb for appliances only if this is requested by the customer. Appliances must have the doors removed if the customer wants them moved to the curb for safety purposes.

Screen doors, door closers, fixed or moving panels of patio doors and handrails must be removed by the customer before the delivery team arrives. Delivery personnel will remove doors with pin hinges provided they are not painted into place.

Delivery personnel must wear steel toe shoes, gloves, and masks at all times during delivery and cannot remove them under any circumstances. Protective floor runners will be used to protect floors and carpets on all deliveries. (Even if the customer insists it is OK)

All bedding to be disposed of on the order will be made on a one-for-one basis for a $30.00 disposal fee per mattress and box spring set. One-for-one moves must be for like product and the old product will only be moved once.

Small and built-in appliances, electronics or Ready to Assemble (RTA) items will be delivered in the original box only - unopened. All cartons and original packaging for televisions should be left with the customer in case the unit needs to be shipped or taken in for service in the original carton. Other than this, all product packaging and wrapping materials shall be returned to the warehouse for disposal.

General Delivery Information For All Deliveries

YOUR DELIVERY INCLUDES:

The set up of products being delivered to you and the removal of all packaging materials. For an additional disposal fee of $25.00 per appliance or $30.00 mattress and boxspring, we can remove the items being replaced during the delivery. Please ensure you request this additional service before your scheduled delivery date.

YOUR DELIVERY DOES NOT INCLUDE:

We are unable to disassemble any existing items in the customer’s home. Any Ready to Assemble (RTA) product is generally intended to be built in place and often can be damaged when moved so we are unable to move assembled RTA items. We cannot disconnect existing water/drain lines on your washing machine or dishwasher and cannot connect your new products being delivered. We cannot connect your dryer’s discharge vent to a plastic exhaust hose as it must be a flexible metal hose. Our delivery team is not certified to install gas ranges or gas dryers.

DAMAGE POLICY:

Any damage to home or premise are the sole responsibility of the delivery agent contracted to/by N. Teppermans Limited (Tepperman's). Tepperman's shall not assume responsibility or liability whatsoever for any damage to merchandise, property or premise caused by faulty gas or water hook-up and/or installation of any gas or electrical appliance. Any damage to merchandise, property or premise caused by the customers improper delivery, set-up, installation or usage of product purchased by the customer from Tepperman's, whether inside or outside the warranty period, shall be the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

  • ELECTRIC RANGE:

    Delivery personnel will set up, level and connect to the existing outlet using the manufacturer-supplied plug only. Direct wire hook-ups will not be done. Delivery personnel will remove any shipping bolts and packing strips.

    GAS APPLIANCES:

    Delivery personnel shall place the appliance in the location specified by the customer (not unhooking the gas appliance) and will not install the unit. Delivery personnel will not level a gas appliance since the gas installer should do this when he does the installation.

    PORTABLE DISHWASHER:

    Delivery personnel will install the casters, set the dishwasher in place, and remove any shipping bolts and packing strips.

    ANY BUILT-IN APPLIANCE:

    Delivery personnel will place the unit in the location specified by the customer in the carton only and will not install it.

    Washer: Delivery Personnel will remove shipping blocks, attach front legs, adjust rear legs, level the unit, install the drain hose, and connect hot and cold water taps (provided the taps are not rusted or corroded). It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the water lines are disconnected and the machine is empty before the delivery team arrives.

    ELECTRIC DRYER:

    Delivery personnel shall level and connect the unit to the existing electrical outlet using the manufacturer-supplied plug only, removing any shipping bolts and packing strips. Delivery personnel will also connect the dryer’s discharge vent provided the hose has been attached to the wall vent and is ready to attach to the back of the dryer. Delivery personnel will slide hose onto the dryer and affix it with the clamp if supplied. They will only attach the dryer to a flexible metal hose. Delivery personnel will not connect the dryer’s discharge vent to a plastic exhaust hose.

    DRYER HANDLE:

    If the customer requires the dryer door to be reversed, this is a procedure that must happen in the warehouse ahead of the delivery - delivery personnel cannot make a door change in the customer’s home. (Please note that there is an additional fee for a door- swing).

    PEDESTALS:

    Delivery personnel will fully assemble pedestals and attach washer and dryer to them. They will ensure that units are level. (Please note that the PSDEL charge of $99.95 will apply - this includes delivery and set-up)

    STACKING UNITS:

    Delivery personnel will fully assemble the stacking units and secure the washer and dryer. (Please note that the PSDEL charge of $99.95 will apply - this includes delivery and set-up)

    REFRIGERATOR OR FREEZER:

    Delivery personnel will set up the unit. This includes leveling the unit, putting all the racks, crispers and ice cube trays in place. If reversing door is requested by the customer at the time of sale and noted on the order this will also be done in the warehouse before loading the truck only. The refrigerator will be plugged in and the customer will be instructed not to turn it on for approx. 20 minutes to allow the oil and the liquid condensing agent to settle back into the compressor. Then, the customer should turn the refrigerator on and set the dials to the cold mid-range position.

    Delivery personnel shall remove and re-install refrigerator door handles and refrigerator doors as required to enable the merchandise to be brought into the customer’s home and be placed in the location requested by the customer. This service includes removing the old refrigerator where necessary to another location in the home. If asked by the customer, Delivery personnel will move the refrigerator to the curb, but only if the customer has previously removed its doors. Delivery personnel will not remove handles or doors to move appliances.

    ROOM AIR-CONDITIONER:

    Delivery personnel will set the air conditioner into a pre-existing sleeve only (if there is reasonable access), and plug the unit in. Delivery personnel will remove air conditioners from the sleeve if the homeowner has removed all bolts and “loosened” the unit for removal. Delivery personnel will not install window units into windows.

    ELECTRIC FIREPLACE:

    Delivery personnel shall deliver the unit into the customer’s home to the location specified by the customer and, if necessary, assemble it into one piece. Should the manufacturer recommend screwing into the wall, the Delivery personnel shall advise the customer that this should be done but will not screw it into the wall. The unit shall be plugged in to ensure it works.

    FRIDGE HANDLE:

    If the customer requires the fridge door to be reversed, this is a procedure that must happen in the warehouse ahead of the delivery - delivery personnel cannot make a door change in the customer’s home. (Please note that there is an additional fee for a door- swing).

  • TELEVISIONS

    Delivery personnel shall open and hook up only one antenna line, satellite line or cable television line if it exists and is available at the location where the television will be setup. The television will be placed where the customer desires and plugged in. Customers shall be advised that all cartons and original packaging for televisions should be left with them in case the unit needs to be shipped or taken in for service in the original carton. Stands that come disassembled are considered RTA and will not be set up for the customer. LED and LCD at panel TV’s will be opened and fixed to the accompanying base if requested. Products sold as part of an in-home AV installation will be delivered by the installer.

    ALL OTHER ELECTRONICS

    Will be delivered in the original box only - unopened.
