Year In Review: 2023

2023 has come and gone, and there are so many amazing moments we are proud to look back on. Some of the major highlights include our 98th anniversary in March, where we ran our annual premier sale event of the year. In April, we were honoured to accept the Environment & Sustainability award at the 2023 Kitchener-Waterloo Business Excellence Awards Gala. In August, we earned the Great Place to Work® certification after an independent analysis conducted by Great Place to Work Institute® Canada. Plus, throughout the year our store and head office team members were keen to get involved in community events and partnerships, such as efforts with Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex, Habitat Restore, YQG Green Expo, Black Boys Code, the Holiday Train in London and Chatham, and Food Banks in Windsor-Essex, Waterloo Region, Ancaster, and more. Finally, we wrapped up the year with incredible prices and the shopping experience and service we are known for during our busy Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Boxing Week periods.

Tepperman’s is proud to support all the amazing charities, events and organizations that bring the best out of the communities we are located in.

After 365 days, we are proud to share we've generated 458 000 kWh of electricity - which is 97.7% of our Kitchener store’s total energy usage since September 2022.

In 2023, Tepperman’s became the first physical store in Ontario to carry Polysleep. We also launched ecoSleep, a mattress line with a focus on sustainability and giving back to the environment.

In 2006, Andrew and Noah Tepperman carried their father Bill out after his retirement. Fast forward to 2023, the brothers and Bill Tepperman replicated the photo at a recent family gathering. Time may have passed, but what remains the same is the love and passion these three have for their family and family-owned business.
