Ontario’s new Home Renovation Savings Program is now offering rebates on select energy-efficient appliances purchased on or after November 20, 2025.

Program Overview

Ontario has introduced a new appliance rebate program to help households reduce energy use and lower electricity costs. Customers can receive up to $200 back when they purchase an ENERGY STAR® certified appliance in an eligible category.

This rebate is open to all Ontario households connected to the electricity grid and applies to purchases made online or in-store.

How The Rebate Works

  1. Purchase an eligible ENERGY STAR® appliance on or after November 20, 2025.
  2. Submit your rebate application through the Ontario government website.
  3. Receive up to $200 back within approximately 60 days of approval.

This rebate is administered by the Ontario government. Eligibility, application processing, and rebate approvals are determined solely by the program authority. Appliances must be purchased on or after November 20, 2025 to qualify.
